July Classes and Workshops: See Calendar for dates/times.

All workshops start at 10am and go until you have to leave.

Evening hours start when you can get here and go until you have to leave. No time limit!!!   10% discount all class supplies.

Knitted Project Tote:

Knitted tote bag for your take-along projects

One hour long workshop. Previous Knitting experience required. Stop by any time and Kitty will go over the instructions to make this great knit bag for projects and/or stuff.

Great alternative to quilting for a change. Light and easy for summer take-a-long.

Inspiration for this hand-knitted bag is the machine-knitted tote on page 37 of your June issue of KNIT’n STYLE magazine.  If you don’t already have an issue, we have several left and will give an additional discount to participants of the workshop.

The machine-knitted tote has fixed wooden handles and a specific method to add the embellishment.  The workshop directions will give you many options, including a method to attach the tote to the handle of your beach chair so you can keep your work out of the sand…or off the ground if your vacation doesn’t take you to the beach this year.

Some knitting experience required.  The cost of the workshop will be $10 plus materials so the final cost will depend upon what yarn you wish to use and the fabric you select for the lining.  Because part of the hour will be taken up by making these choices,  Kitty will arrange a meeting with you at a later date to help with any problems you have at no extra charge.

Beginning Applique:

Slow down in the heat and unplug with hand appliqué. Will complete an easy Baltimore block. then if you want to continue making blocks, you can become a charter member of the Baltimore Beauties
 We will meet every month as long as you wish to get help and complete the blocks.
